Georgian Silver Parcel Gilt Sifter Spoon / Ladle
A George III silver silver sifter ladle, with attractive later embossed and engraved decoration to the bowl and stem, front and reverse. There is a fine crest of a hippocampus head and the bowl has been gilded. Hallmarked for London 1785, maker William Sumner I.
It measures 17.5cm (6 7/8") long and 5.5cm (2 1/8") wide. It measures 43g / 1.4ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage, repairs or dents and minimal handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
