Georgian Old English Silver Tablespoons 1763
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer for sale this fine quality handmade pair of early George III period silver bottom marked Old English pattern tablespoons,
This elegant pair of early Old English pattern tablespoons is free of any personalisation and are of good gauge silver.
This wonderful pair of Georgian serving spoon would make an ideal gift or a treat for yourself.
The details are as follows:
Silversmith: Possibly Henry Brind (HB)
Assay office: London
Year of manufacture: Poorly struck date letter which is typical with bottom marked examples, but I believe they were made in 1763, this set of marks was used between 1756-1775.

Dimensions:
Length: 21 cm
Length of bowl: 8 cm
Width of bowl: 5 cm
Combined weight: 131 grams
Condition report:
In overall very good condition for its age, the spoons have some age related marks and scratches some of which are deeper plus a shallow dent to one of the spoon bowls, overall a beautiful a highly desirable pair of Georgian silver serving spoons.
