George III Silver Fiddle & Thread Fish Slice
Attractive Georgian silver fish slice server in the fiddle and thread pattern by fine quality silver makers Richard Crossley and George Smith IV. Stylish diamond grill pierced detail to the centre. Hallmarked for London 1805.
It measures 30cm (11 3/4") long, 5.5cm (2 1/8") wide and 4cm (1 1/2") high.. It weighs 157g/5ozt. Condition is very good with just light surface wear good and appropriate for age and use. It has an attractive crest of an owl to the handle. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
