A good quality George II solid silver salver decorated with shell, scroll and acanthus design to the border. Standing on 3 scrolled design feet. Very light surface wear and markings.
11.9" diameter. Weight - 957gm.
Hallmarked 1742.
Maker Thomas Whipham.
Thomas Whipham was a London silversmith first registered in 1737. All items are checked by our restoration team and any work is sympathetically carried out. Therefore condition is excellent, commensurate with age and items are ready to go straight into the home for immediate use. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or request additional pictures.
