Edwardian Silver Teapot Chester 1906 Nathan Hayes
Very nice Georgian style silver teapot with carved ebony handle and knop. Vertical fluted detail around the body and cast decorative edge around the shoulders with a gadrooned egg and dart style pattern interspersed with scallop shells and foliage. Collet band around the base and ornate lion paw feet with floral decoration. Hallmarked for Chester 1906, makers George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
It measures 30cm (11 3/4") long, 14cm (5 1/2") wide and 15.2cm (6") high. It weighs 695g / 22.3ozt. Condition is very good with no damage, dents or repairs and light surface wear only. Nice and clean inside, ready for use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
