Here we have a fine Meji period Japanese charger of large proportions c1880. As you can see the charger has great colour. It is in perfect condition with a lovely ping when holding it. The decoration is excellent and full of symbolism both painted and gilded. The reverse has a wonderful deep blue border and a raised footed base. The dimensions are approx 48 cm in diameter and 6 cm high.
