Cased Pair George V Silver Napkin Rings 1912
Nice pair of silver napkin rings in their original velvet and silk lined domed leather case. Plain and polished in the centre, sandwiched between cast raised bands with pretty decoration of swirls and arabesques in an art nouveau style. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1912, makers Jones & Crompton.
The measure 4.3cm (1 1/8") across and 2.7cm (just over 1") wide and weigh 51g / 1.6ozt. Condition is very good they are very fractionally distorted as a minor point to note. The box has some scuffing to the lid and the upper part of the catch has been reattached but in the main is in lovely order and the rings fit really snugly inside.
