On offer this stunning solid silver Art Deco compact by Asprey, dating to year 1939.

This stylish piece is a playful combination of patterns and lines, finished with rose gold borders beautifully contrasting with the silver. Such an eye-catching creation! The interior is gilt and although the mirror has been removed, the frame is still in place as is the original leather top puff.

The compact measures 5.8 x 5.8 cm, with a thickness of 1 cm.

Total weight 80 grams

Condition Apart from the missing mirror mentioned above, there are some scratches & miniscule scuffs commensurate with age & use, but otherwise very good. Strong closure too, closing with a snap as you would expect form a well made high-end piece.
