We have for sale a striking arts and crafts Liberty and Co of london silver Christening fork.

This attractive Christening fork is of a planished form and decorated with a very attractive geometrical design including 2 simple flowers and a cartouche engraved with the capital letter M. The fork acrries full hallmarks for Birmingham 1933 along with the Liberty & Co makers mark and the serial number 5776.

The fork is approximately 6.25 inches (15.9cm) long and weighs a 38.5g according to our digital scales. The fork is in a good condition with clearly struck hallmarks and the surface wear one would expect from a piece of silver that has obviously spent the majority of its life in a drawer with other flatware.
