Art Deco Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver Sugar Basket
A very stylish silver bucket shaped swing handled bowl by Tiffany & Co. that could be used equally as a bonbon / sugar basket or as a small ice bucket. Plain polished walls with a cast decorative applied frieze around the rim. Shaped lugs hold up the elegant swing handle. London sterling import marks for 1924, maker Tiffany & Co. and partial marks to the handle.
It measures 13.3cm (5 1/4") high with the handle raised, 7cm (2 3/4") to the rim and 10.5cm (4 1/8") wide. It weighs 164g / 5.3ozt and has a capacity of 335ml/cubic cm (12 fluid ounces).
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear. The handle moves smoothly and holds its raised position easily. It has no engravings. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
