A divine little Art Deco sterling silver and guilloche enamel compact mirror! This stylish vanity was crafted in 1938 by Henry Clifford Davis. Beautiful hand painted Dog-roses and forget-me-nots grace the lid. There isn't any loss of design or enamel. There does not appear to be any powder residue and the sifter is clean and unused. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The vermeil powder well bears a full set of hallmarks. The base has a stylish engine turned design. All catches and hinges work perfectly. This purse mirror is suitable for loose face powder or as an impressive handbag mirror. The original pouch is also included. Excellent condition throughout. Measures 2 1/2 inches x just over 2 1/2 inches and weighs 77.2 grams.
