Very stylish silver inkwell in the form of a bell. Super deco shape with angular 'handle' and hinge and stepped foot and lid. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1927, maker A & J Zimmerman. Marks are a bit rubbed on the base, clear inside the lid. Fitted with a clear glass liner.

It measures 3" high and 3 1/8" wide. It has a weighted base. Condition is very good no damage or repairs bar a very slight distortion to the foot edge and light surface wear.
