Art Deco Liberty & Co Solid Silver Christening Set
For sale this stylish solid silver, heavy gauge, Art Deco christening set. This item was originally sold by the luxury brand Liberty & Co from their shop in Regent Street, London. The set contains a silver tea spoon and an engine turned silver napkin ring inscribed with the initials A.B.P.
The spoon and napkin ring come in their original fitted case: The case has the words 'Liberty Regent Street London By official Appointment' printed on it. The brown case has a unique half oval shape protruding from the centre, creating a 3D geometric effect, which represents the Liberty & Co hallmark and USP of creating authentic designs.

Condition report:
The case's exterior is quite worn in places and some of the material has worn off see photos, however, it is fully functional: opening and closing smoothly and nicely protects its contents. The velvet and silk/satin inner part of the case is in comparably much better condition and merely has some age related wear such as discoloration but in overall good order for its over 70 year age.
The spoon is in good condition and has the usual surface scratches associated with age. and a very small dint to the bowl. The napkin ring is in very good order and is the more unusual oval shape, however there is some very slight nicks to the edge of the ring, please see photos.
