A charming little Victorian Vinaigrette in the form of a little Acorn shaped bottle made from rich Ruby Red glass. The top is made from sterling silver (unmarked which is common for these items) with a highly decorative repousse or embossed hinged lid with hand chasing. The hinged lid opens to reveal the engraved grille the entire top unscrews to refuel the little bottle.

English in origin and dating to c.1880, it remains in excellent condition, 1 5/8" in length.
