Antique English Silver Teapot, London c1836
A lovely Antique, English Silver Teapot made by Joseph & Albert Savory in London and dating from c1836.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JS/AS" for Joseph & Albert Savory, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark, the Monarchs Head duty mark and date letter "A" for 1836/37.
The teapot has a reeded central band and a realistically modelled finial.
