This is an antique 3-draw telescope. An English, terrestrial and astronomical refractor in leather case by JP Cutts, Sutton & Son, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.
Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky
An attractive telescope with quality leather protective case
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Presents bright russet hues to the primary barrel
Of 3 draw type, each operating with smooth action
Clear, bright objective lens with a diameter of 40mm (1.5")
Quality brass dust cap present for the objective
Flared eyepiece to the rear with sliding dust cap and removable cartridge lens

This is a fine antique telescope, dressed within a superb leather case and graced with beautifully polished brightwork. As good to use today as it was 200 years ago. Delivered polished and ready for use or display and supplied with a London Fine oak and brass 'Captains Stand'.
