19Th Century Leather and Copper Fire Bucket
A good example of a mid 19th century antique leather fire bucket. In good condition with a lovely original waxed colour.
Retaining its original leather carrying handle with the top being edged in copper having rivets down the seam and around the base. This antique leather fire bucket which would have normally been filled with sand was not only used next to the country house fireplace for domestic use but they were also commonly used on board naval ships and by the army.
A good quality example in good original condition.

VIEWINGS
We have a reputation for being long established antique dealers in London having had showrooms concurrently running in Islington, Chelsea and Ascot. We have relocated our new showroom, due to London overheads, easily reached between A1 or A10 to just outside of Hertford, Hertfordshire.
We will happily arrange for clients to be collected travelling via train. Local stations being Hertford North, Stevenage and Ware, all being a 10 minute drive from us.
