19th Century Campaign Spirit Flask and Beakers
PRICE DISCOUNTED FROM £ 495 BECAUSE OF IMMINENT RELOCATION
A superb and complete leather cased spirit flask and two beaker/cup set for use in the field.
The pair of slightly graduated beakers fit perfectly together and the glass spirit flask, with a star cut base and bayonet closing cap, fits perfectly inside the beakers. The bayonet cap has the marks showing the makers as James Dixon & Sons and also the mark of the bugle and banner for JD&Sons. The beakers do not show any hallmarks.
The patinated hide carrying case has a wonderful colour and is complete with the over shoulder strap and adjustment buckle which are in very good order and still very usable. The initials EHW are engraved on the beakers, spirit cap and the hide carrying case.
Date: 19th Century.
