Small 19th Century painted Wooden Carousel Galloper or Fair Ground Horse


An Original the 19th Century Fair ground Galloper, he has glass eyes and is made all in wood, the carnival paint is bright and seems to be the original design it is signed but not dated.
The horse has his twisted brass pole with a hook on the top and is set on an old stand, he is very steady but perhaps not enough for sitting on he would make a Wonderfull bright clothes horse?
The Galloper is in sound and very good condition, it is 36” long, 67” high to the top of the pole (saddle height is 39”) and 20” wide
