A magnificent antique Victorian brass folding fire guard dating from circa 1900 in Art Nouveau design. The brass frame has a wire mesh infill and it has a useful curved carry handle to the top. It stands on elegant small turned brass feet and the side panels fold away on brass hinges making it easy to store when not in use.

Good condition with wear and marks commensurate with age. Lightly polished finish. Split to one small section of wire otherwise good.
