Three Piece Silver Condiment Set, 1933
This three piece silver condiment set features an art deco geometric pierced design, with each piece having a blue glass liner.
Each piece is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1933 and the maker Adie Brothers Ltd. Additionally the pieces are stamped with the name "Charles Packer & Co Ltd" who were retailers based in Regent Street London.
All pieces marks (including the retailer stamp) match, and are crisp and clear.
The condiment set is in very good condition. The silver show very little sign of wear and there are only a couple of minor dents to the bases of the salt and mustard, and surface scratching is minimal. The lid of the mustard does have some sideways movement and does not sit quite flush to the rim of the base. The glass liners have no chips or cracks, though we have noted one very minor rough spot to the top lip of the salt.
Unfortunately there are no spoons
The mustard is 4.5 cm (1.7") in diameter and stands 4 cm (1.5") tall.
The open salt is 4.5 cm (1.7") in diameter and stands 3 cm (1.2") tall.
The pepper is 2.7 cm (1.1") in diameter and stands 5 cm (2") tall.
The combined silver only weight is 50g.
