A superb quality Georgian Silver Gilt Vinaigrette.It is allover finely engraved with bright cut detail and Flowers,the Lid is mounted on all side with cast Silver depicting bunches of 'Grapes' and Leaves.It has re-entrant corners which is also reflected in the Silver mount.The base is also engraved all over with Flowers. It opens to reveal an exquisite pierced Grille. The Gilding is still bright with no 'losses'. Full Hallmarks for Joseph Wilmore,B'Ham 1819. Dimensions:- 3.7CMS X 2.8CMS. Wt:-26 Grammes. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
