Solid Silver Toast Rack William Hutton 1906
Here we have for sale a truly delightful Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver four division silver toast rack of elegantly simple form on four ball feet with centrally mounted handle.
Silversmith: William Hutton & Sons Ltd
Established in Birmingham in 1800 before moving to Sheffield in 1832, William Hutton & Sons was well known for producing fine quality pieces of silver and silver plated ware particularly during the late 19th & early 20th century, the firm was taken over by James Dixon & Sons in 1930.

Condition report. In overall good condition, with age related surface scratches and some areas of heavy tarnish, the central bar appears to be slightly bent and also has a possible repair.
