Silver Victorian Pill Box Deakin Francis 1887
Here we have for sale an extremely beautiful late Victorian hallmarked silver diamond shaped trinket or pill box with hinged lid & gilt washed interior, with repousse shell decoration to lid, floral decorated to the side panels and with a vacant cartouche. This is a truly stunning box and would make an ideal Christmas present.

Condition report: In overall very good condition for its age (133 years old), with minor tarnish marks and surface scratches, there is also a slight split where the lid closes, however the hinge is in very good order and the lid closes firmly.
This is a beautiful, collectable example of exquisite silver design and craftsmanship and would make the ideal Birthday present, Christmas present or treat for yourself.
