Pair Of Victorian Silver Asparagus Servers / Tongs
A very nice pair of late Victorian silver asparagus tongs with pretty pierced and engraved decoration to the blades creating a scrolling vine pattern and with reeded border around the edges. Hallmarked for London 1893, makers George Maudsley Jackson.
They measure 21.5cm (8 1/2") long and 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide across the blades. They weigh 170g / 5.5ozt.
In very good condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear ready for use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
