This is a pair of antique dessert spoons. An English, Sterling silver cased trifle or berry spoons, dating to the Georgian period, hallmarked in 1801.

Beguiling dessert spoons with a striking decorative quality
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Quality Silver presents bright tonality and pleasingly free of tarnishing
Presented in a later carry case, with the dealer mark for late 19th century Bristol Goldsmith Alliance

Deep bowl with superb scrolled S motif to centre, issuing leaf and flower decor
Elegant handles with a repeat of the S and foliate motif
Hallmarks to reverse with the Lion Rampant and London Assay marks
Shows the date letter F for 1801 and WS monogram for William Seaman
