This is an elegant pair of early 20th century Chinese cloisonne lidded urns of waisted Meiping form decorated with trailing flowers and plum blossom on a blue enamelled background. They are beautifully handcrafted with splashes of colour from the flowers leaves and branches contrasting with the royal blue backdrop, a brass finial on the lid and a copper ring circling the narrowest point in the base.

Condition: This pair are in good antique condition. There are no dents but there is a tiny loss of enamel on each urn on the shoulder - see photo 4 (the loss on the other urn is even smaller) - these do little to detract from these decorative urns. One of the lids is tightly fixed and we didn't attempt to force it. Additional photographs are available - please use the enquiry form to request them.
