A Grand Tour faux book of 26 classical intaglios by the Paoletti family, Rome. Titled Opere Di Canova these are based on the statuary works by the great Italian sculptor Antonio Canova. Each piece is numbered on the gold surround with the title of each on the handwritten “catalogo” opposite. Included are works such as The Three Graces. Condition is fairly good with no damage or cracks to the intaglios. The spine has some wear. The “book”measures 9 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer (UK faster payment or to our €Euro account) which incurs no additional costs or charges.
