Mustard Pot, Nathan & Hayes, Chester 1904 & Spoon
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this superb quality Edwardian period handmade silver mustard pot by Nathan & Hayes. This mustard pot has a Bristol blue glass liner and a matched Victorian condiment spoon by Henry Holland.
This superior quality mustard pot is in the George III style and is similar to examples produced during the 1780s & 90s. The mustard pot has a hand pierced body, with an oval vacant cartouche and a scroll handle, the domed lid has a delicate shell thumb piece and is topped with an urn finial.
