Mustard Pot, Nathan & Hayes, Chester 1904 & Spoon mustard pot silver pot georgian style %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this superb quality Edwardian period handmade silver mustard pot by Nathan & Hayes. This mustard pot has a Bristol blue glass liner and a matched Victorian condiment spoon by Henry Holland.

This superior quality mustard pot is in the George III style and is similar to examples produced during the 1780s & 90s. The mustard pot has a hand pierced body, with an oval vacant cartouche and a scroll handle, the domed lid has a delicate shell thumb piece and is topped with an urn finial.

The firm of Nathan & Hayes were well known for producing fine quality reproduction of earlier silver, and this is a fine example of their work.

The mustard pot comes with a Victorian fiddle pattern salt/mustard spoon which has a period monogram.

A highly displayable, useable and attractive antique silver mustard which would make a sustainable gift or fine addition to any quality silverware collection. Alternatively this mustard pot can be used as an impressive piece of tableware for entertaining friends and family at dinner parties and luncheons.
