Millennium 7 x 5 Silver Photo Frame w/ Pouch & Box
Here we have a Carr's of Sheffield Millennium Series Sterling Silver Photo Frame with its original pouch and box. The frame holds a 7" x 5" photograph and can be stood either portrait or landscape style. It has a light oak wooden backing.
Established by Ron Carr in 1977, Carr's of Sheffield are the best known name in contemporary Sterling Silver Photo Frames and a guarantee of a quality product. Their Millennium series was made to celebrate the turn of the century in 2000 and to celebrate the special silver hallmark that was created for use in just that one year.
Condition is extremely good and it seems likely that the photo frame has seen little or no use in the last 22 years. The pouch and box are also in excellent condition making this ideal as a gift. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
The outer dimensions of the frame are 21.2cm / 8.3ins high by 16cm / 6.3ins wide and without the pouch and box it weighs in at 393.2g / 13.5oz.
The hallmarks running along the bottom of the frame are well struck and clear to read. From left to right they are the RC makers' mark for Carr's of Sheffield, the 925 stamp for Sterling grade silver, the rose assay mark for Sheffield, the lion passant for English Sterling Silver and the special 2000 in a cross shape Millennium mark that was only allowed to be used in the year 2000.
Shipping in the UK is £10 by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes cover for the value of the photo frame.
