An 18th Century Silver and M O P Oval Snuff Box with Gilt interior.This early Snuff Box has an M O P Lid carved as a Shell.It has a 'stand out Hinge' as is typical of this early period.The
Silver is unmarked,again quite normal for age, and has been tested.Good Collectors item.The condition is very good for age. It measures 3" x 2.25" Max. Circa 1740-60. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
