A good quality large circular silver rose bowl on a stepped pedestal base with a single band running around the middle of the otherwise plain body and finished with a stepped everted rim. Either side are 2 ornate scrolling handles.

Hallmarked for Sheffield 1905, makers James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin).

It measures 23cm (9 1/8") rim to rim, 33cm (13") across the handles and 18.7cm (7 3/8") high to the handles, 15cm (5 7/8") to the rim. It weighs 981g / 31.6ozt. It has a capacity of over 3 litres.

Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and only light surface wear, the top part of the maker's mark is worn but all other marks are clear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
