A lovely fine quality globular cut glass scent bottle with a sterling silver mount and embossed, hinged lid with foliate design and vacant cartouche in the centre. The inside of the lid and stepped mount is gilded and fitted with the original cut glass stopper. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, maker William Hutton & Sons Ltd.

It measures 12.7cm (5") high and 10.2cm (4") wide and weighs 527g. Condition is excellent with no chips or nicks to the glass body or internal stopper and no dents or damage to the silver. The gilding is good inside and surface wear is very light, just a bit of rubbing to the edge of the hallmarks. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
