An impressive large antique Victorian needlework fire screen in barley twist rosewood frame. With barley twist supports topped with turned finials and an acanthus carved and pierced top rail. It stands on carved scroll feet united by a barley twist cross stretcher. The needlework screen depicts a scene of a lady holding a dove in castle grounds and there is a pane of glass infront of it to protect it. A very decorative and good quality piece in good condition.

very Good untouched original condition. Good colour and patina. Solid and sturdy frame. General wear and marks commensurate with age.
