Large French silver tastevin of circular form with embossed fluted belly and loop handle cast as a snake with pointed tail and head detail. Hallmarked on the side and clearer marks on the handle with the boar head silver standard mark and makers mark for Charles-Marie Guidee of Paris and dates for c.1830

It measures 12cm by 10cm wide and 4cm high and weighs 119g/3.8ozt. Condition is very good a few small dints and slight distortion to the rim. The mark on the side is rubbed but those on the handle pretty clear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
