A fine quality bronze equestrian figure by Vittoz. He was a well known Parisian bronzier working in the mid 19th Cent. Several of his works were exhibited at the Great Exhibition of 1851 where he was awarded a Grand Medal.

This bronze shows a mounted horseman dressed in period costume. It has some fine detail and movement. It is in excellent condition and has good patination.
