Edwardian Silver Grape Scissors Levi & Salaman
Very pretty pair of Edwardian grape scissors with cast sterling silver ribbon and reed pattern handles with bunches of grapes and vine leaf decoration. The blades are silver plated steel to ensure a nice clean cut. Hallmarked for 1907, makers Levi & Salaman. Fitted in their original purple velvet and cream silk lined leather case.
They measure 16.5cm (6 1/2") long and 6.7cm (2 5/8") wide and weigh 57g. Condition is very good: there is a small scratch mark on the underside of the blades. The blades close crisply. Light and appropriate surface wear overall and inside the blades and the marks are nice and clear. The case is in very nice condition inside with just some expected scuffing to the corners and base outside. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
