Early Victorian Silver Cased Scent Bottle.B.1848
An early Victorian Silver Cased Perfume Bottle. The Bottle is cased in elaborately pierced and scrolled Silver with a Blank Cartouche.Hallmarks for B'ham 1848. As seen from photos the Glass Bottle slides out from bottom of case, this bottle is very obviously hand blown to fit the case., there is some variation in thickness at the neck which makes stopper sit slightly leaning over. The Silver Collar has very minor 'dings' due to the silver being typically 'Victorian' gauge.
It stands 15cms tells and Base diameter is 5.5cms.
