A handsome French solid silver picture frame with an exotic wooden backing which incorporates a folding easel stand allowing the frame to be used in both a portrait and landscape configuration.

The silver is decorated with the iconic screw design, part of the love collection by Cartier and dates to c.1980.

The lock to the back is signed Cartier and 925 the silver on the front is also signed in two places.

The frame has just been returned from our silversmith's workshop where it has been deep cleaned, dents removed and professionally polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

Behind the glass the self printed burgundy coloured silk remains intact and undamaged with a continuous design "Cartier Paris".

Excellent condition measuring 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" with the glazed aperture measuring 7 5/8" x 5 3/4".
