ISAAK DUCHEMIN bronze figure of a dancing faun. The figure is in completely original condition with a very fine patina, giving a sense of joyous happiness through dancing. The figure with a finely muscled torso, holding cymbals and pumping a Scabellum. This fine bronze would create a focal point to any room. This ‘Maquette’ by DUCHEMIN circa 1850 was after the original by Soldani, made for Prince Liechtenstein in 1695. Ht 58, W 32, D 22 cms Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade. Our experience ensures that we only select the best pieces in their category.
