A beautiful bronze of a young dancer, holding aloft a lyre with a turtle shell. This study epitomises the joy of dancing and music. A young woman with hair ornamentation to her flowing tresses and dressed in a transparent gown. This is a beautiful study and is signed Math Moreau Hors Concours and stamped with a Medaille d’Honneur stamp, with no abrasions, scratches or over cleaning. This study is in fantastic original condition and comes with a very fine patina. Ht 71, W 30, D 30 cms. Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
