We have far sale an attractive Edwardian boxed silver christening fork and spoon by the excellent silversmiths Cooper Brothers and Sons, c1905.

This charming christening set consists an attractively decorated fork and spoon, each carrying full hallmarks for Sheffield 1905 along with the makers marks for Cooper Brothers and Sons. The christening set is presented in a black leatherette covered presentation box with a blue interior. The Christening set was originally sold by W. J. Story of Barrow in Furness, contractor to the Royal Navy.

Fork is 5 inches (12.7cm) long and the spoon is 4.75 inches (12cm)long and both are in a very good condition with clear, crisp hallmarks and makers marks. The exterior of the presentation box carries the wear one would expect from a box of this period.
