A fine antique guilloche enamel Austrian sterling silver box. This piece was imported into London in 1913 by Erich Kellerman. This remarkable ornamental box is in superb condition. The lid and sides are embellished with lovely white guilloche enamel. The lid is adorned with the most exquisite depiction of a white bird, possibly a peacock. Pale pink peonies, pristine blue water and a pale blue sky complete this captivating scene. The interior of the box is the most gorgeous rich golden vermeil with clear and unworn hallmarks on both the lid and base. The hinge and catch work perfectly. Measures 7 cm diameter. Weighs 135.1 grams.
