This is an arts and crafts fire screen with classic utopian galleon in full sail flying an English flag. The panel is reverse painted on the inside with a beautiful galleon. This dates from the days of Empire and Britain ruling the waves. It is set in an oak frame with shaped and moulded frame to set off the main panel so well a great thing that says something about who we are and where we have come from.
