A stylish 1920s silver chain mail evening bag in classic flapper girl style. Hallmarked for London 1923, makers A.M. & M. Ltd. Each link of the chain also has a lion passant mark.

It measures 18.5cm (7 1/4") wide and 18.8cm (7 3/8") deep (34cm (13 3/8") from the handle to the bottom. It weighs 282g / 9.1ozt.

Condition is good: there are a few small holes missing links in the area below the hinges but nothing affecting use and otherwise fine with minor handling wear. A perfect size for actual use as large as a modern evening bag. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
