A fully hallmarked sterling silver compact mirror crafted by Deakin & Francis in 1936. The bold geometric lines and 'chopped' edges of the compact are typically Art Deco. The exterior case has an engine turned design of tiny diamond shapes. The compact is in good condition. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. On opening the compact you will see an excellent clear mirror and the vermeil interior which has clear easy to read hallmarks. This compact would make an ideal handbag / purse mirror. It measures 7.3 cm and weighs 71.3 grams. This piece comes with a black pouch to protect it
