We have for sale an attractive boxed silver art deco three piece cruet or condiment set c1935.

This art deco silver three piece cruet set, consisting of a mustard pot with a hinged lid, pepperette with a push-fit lid and open salt. Each component of the cruet set is of plain tapering form on raised stepped bases and in the case of the mustard pot and pepperette extending to attractively stepped lids. The salt and the mustard pot are both complete with their original blue liners. All three components of the cruet set carry full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1935 along with the makers marks TS. The set is presented in its original black case.

As an indication of size, the pepperette is 3.5 inches (8.9cm) high and the lidded mustard pot is 3.25 inches (8.2cm) in width including the handle. The whole cruet set weighs approximately 3.3 Troy ounces.

The cruet set is in a very good condition with only the surface wear one would expect from more than 80 years of infrequent but careful use, although the hallmarks are legible some do display some signs of wear. The presentation box is in a good condition considering its age but the interior does show age related discolouring.
