This is a very beautiful fully hallmarked 1940s Czechoslovakian solid silver powder compact in excellent condition. An impressive compact with beautiful bright-cut engraving adorning both the lid. The lid has a clean central cartouche. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is good & gives an accurate reflection. The interior is also delightfully pretty with bright-cut engravings surrounding the mirror & powder well. The base is decorated with a stylish engine turned linear design. The compact comes with the original felt lined pouch, sifter and puff - all of which are in good condition.

This silver powder compact is suitable for loose face powder or as a handbag mirror.

This solid silver compact measures 8 cm & it weighs 91.3 grams.
