Antique Repousse Silver Snuff Box
This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Snuff Box from the early 1900s. It would be perfect for storing small items in such as antique jewellery.
It was made by Synyer & Beddoes and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1903. The Hallmarks are worn on the side of the box next to the Maker’s Mark, but are clearly visible on the rim of the lid.
The box has shiny Sterling Silver sides and base. The Maker’s Mark is at the back of the box below the hinge. The lid has a beautiful Repousse design featuring two cherubs.
The hinge works well and the inside of lid has been Gilded.
