A beautiful and elegant fully hallmarked sterling silver and vibrant yellow guilloche enamel loose powder compact. This delightful vanity was crafted by J Gloster Ltd. in 1947. The eye catching and very beautiful enamel is the classic Art Deco highly stylized sun burst design. The whole piece is in excellent condition - no dings or damage / loss of enamel. The compact has not been used with face powder. The original pristine sifter is in place. The base is decorated with an engine turned design. The catches and hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives an accurate and clear reflection. An immaculate pouch is included. Measures 7 cm x 6.8 cm and weighs 110.9 grams.
